The words “Do Nothing About Me Without Me” are commonly used in the disability justice movement as a reminder that people with disabilities have agency and that their voices must be at the forefront of any effort to advance the rights and advocate for the interests of their communities. Living Hope Wheelchair Association is working to make this a reality in Houston.
