The California Immigrant Integration Initiative's 2018 Quarter 2 Meeting Materials and Resources
The first quarter meeting of GCIR's California Immigrant Integration Initiative (CIII).
This meeting focused on the most pressing public policies and issues, as well as long term strategies for addressing the well-being of immigrant and refugee communities.
Following the CIII retreat, the legal services learning lab hosted a learning lab for funders for an important conversation on the move to end detention. Participants were moved by our inspirational leaders from across the country who are fighting to end the policy and practice of immigration detention.
This blog post considers how the benefits of expanding CalEITC will be curtailed if it is not extended to immigrants.
Thank you to everyone who was able to join us at the CIII retreat.
