Strengthening Democracy and Promoting Immigrant Representation in the South

Understanding the inextricable link between political representation, civic engagement, and access to opportunities or lack thereof, the movement to strengthen our democracy and the movement to advance immigrant justice are finding common ground to build community power. Hear from community leaders what philanthropy can do to support these essential movements in the South. From the 2020 census and redistricting, to voter education, registration, and mobilization, 2020 will be a critical year for ensuring immigrants are seen, heard, counted, and represented at all levels of government.
