No one can predict the future, but everyone can plan for it. In this workshop, explore the various scenarios for the immigrant justice movement on the other side of what is already proving to be a contentious 2020 election. No matter the winner, when the dust settles there will be a long and difficult road ahead for immigrants and their allies—either trying to roll back years of punitive policies and recovering from community trauma, or standing up to another round of attacks in the vein of the Muslim ban, family separation, and public charge. Explore the range of potential scenarios ahead and the various options in the philanthropic toolbox that can be deployed to defend and promote immigrant well-being.
