Concern over the number of immigrants settling in the United States, particularly the undocumented, belies many of the hard facts about the needs and contributions of immigrants. This section offers a range of facts and figures that provide a quick overview of the issues.
Immigrants contribute to state economies and are a growing proportion of the electorate. The Immigration Policy Center published fact sheets for each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the nation as a whole about these contributions.
